
CACHE Level 4 Certificate for the
Early Years Advanced Practitioner (EYAP)
This Level 4 qualification aims to provide learners with professional development opportunities. This is a work-based qualification which will embrace the wealth of experience learners have already gained within the Level 3 early years workforce. Learners will be challenged in both their daily practice and theoretical understanding.
Entry requirements
Learners must hold a Level 3 qualification in childcare and they must be proficient in maths and English. Learners must be IT literate and be able to use a range of software applications including word processing software (e.g., Word) and presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint). Learners must be able to: produce work electronically; receive and send emails as a primary means of communication; print work as required; and access the internet for research and communication purposes.
Workplace
Learners must be employed within an early years setting and they must be in a position to guide practice and implement change to improve outcomes for children.
Delivery
The qualification is delivered as a tutored programme which requires learners to attend 6 workshop, one per month. Learners will be assessed by a qualified assessor who will assess competency of knowledge and skills.
Duration
The award will take 6 months to complete.

The cost of this programme is £750 plus VAT at the current rate (£900 in total)
